  3. Hi Charlie! If you don't have any music by your artist you could try asking Hannah. Spencer is also listening to Metallica, you can try him. It is always a problem with us: We chose what music we want to listen to but then we can't get our hands on it to actually listen to it! Darned technology... It takes sooo much work and expertise to sink iPods and authorize and deauthorize and share music. You are just supposed to by it, but who has that kind of money to throw away?

  5. Ignoring that last part...
Is metalica kind of like head-banging-against-the-wall heavy Metal?
For some reason it reminds me of braces. Or it sounds like how you would describe braces... or silverware.
Do you like it or is it migraine music like Spencer said?
If it was a breakfast cereal what would it be?
    Hard core cheerios without sugar?
    Fruit loops without milk?
A cereal that lacks substance (imaginary cereal)?

  6. Hi Charlie, I hope you've found Metallica by now!! I've never gotten very into their music, but when I was younger, they were VERY popular with some of my friends.

  7. Hi
I haven't heard much Metallica. I don't think I will be, though, from all the complaints I've heard about it - but I could do that for the next stretch project if we have one) Maddy: The reason why that metallica reminds you of braces is probably because braces are metal and...blah. But that's kinda obvious. Ah well. Just wanted to put it out there.

  11. You still haven't answered my cereal question.
If it's not heavy metal what is it?
Do you think You and Spencer have different opinions about Metallica? Are you listening to the same album?
Who am I? Where's my house keys? When's my cat's birthday? Why am I alone!!!!!!?????!!!!
Ok that was random. Please ignore the last four questions. Thank you.

  13. Hi Charlie, I enjoyed hearing "The Day That Never Comes" on Monday. It reminded me that not all of Metallica is particularly heavy. The guitar playing is awesome.

  17. Unfortunately I think that "The Day That Never Comes" is another of THOSE songs.
It is quite apparent which songs are THOSE songs in my listening journal, because while every other song has trees and flowers and people and birds and happy little creatures and mellow, pleasant scenery, the space below the title of THOSE songs is filled with large amounts of dark scribbles, and holes punched through the page. Sometimes you can see places where I broke the pencil. Sometimes their are slitted eyes amongst the scribbles.
THOSE songs are not good to fall asleep to. They are also not good to calm you down when you are stressed out, nor are they good for playing at fancy dinners and weddings. They do not help raise your self esteem either.
I have a rather unfortunately low opinion on THOSE songs.
I believe I listened to one of THOSE artists, who writes THOSE songs as my next stretch project, i wouldn't have to fake the effect of "Kill! Kill! I want to KILL something!!!" if I wanted to get out of the army... Who knows, if I get drafted and die on the battle field because my maniacle laugh was not sufficiently realistic you can all attend my funeral and wish that you had forced me to listen to THOSE songs while you had the chance, and pushed me that last hair's-breadth over the brink of complete insanity while you still had the chance.
or maybe this comment will weird you out enough that you will be relieved.
